- Over 180 CEO’s representing small, minority, women, veteran, HUBZone, and veteran disabled business owners attended the CEO Summit to discuss accessing federal contracts with officials from top procurement agencies-DOD, VA, HHS, NASA, DOE, and DHS
- Bill Weldon, CEO Johnson & Johnson accepted the Fortune 500 Corporate Leadership Award on behalf of the Johnson & Johnson team and commended Ruben Taborda
- Other Keynote Speakers included Cabinet Members Kathleen Sebelius, Secretary of Health & Human Services and Hilda Solis, Secretary of Labor

Washington, D.C. –This year MBRT presented its Fortune 500 Corporate Leadership Award to Bill Weldon Chairman & CEO, Johnson & Johnson for their outstanding milestone of achieving over $1 Billion in contracts with small, minority and women owned businesses at its luncheon on June 21, 2011. Also receiving special recognition was Ruben Taborda for leading the Johnson & Johnson procurement and supplier diversity team. “This is a remarkable achievement and Johnson & Johnson should be commended for their outstanding hard work to incorporate small, minority and women owned companies in their business solutions”, said Roger A.
