Las Vegas, NV – MBRT members enthusiastically endorsed Janice Bryant Howard, CEO Act-1 Group, a personnel services and staffing company with offices throughout the United States and headquartered in Torrance, CA as its new Chairman. “As one of the top female, African American entrepreneurs in the country, Janice brings energy and a dynamic style of business leadership to MBRT”, said Roger A. Campos, MBRT President & CEO. “We have a strong Executive Leadership team to compliment Janice consisting of former Chairman, Houston L. Williams, CEO Pacific Network Solutions (San Jose, CA) who will serve as Vice Chairman. Rounding out our distinguished group of entrepreneurs on the Executive Committee are Andra Rush, CEO Rush Trucking (Wayne, MI), Bart Garber, CEO Tyonek Group (Anchorage, AK), and Frank Barreras, CEO Avion International (Miami, FL).”

“As a Founding Board member, I’ve watched this organization grow and the respect I have for Roger, his team and the whole MBRT family is incredible”, said Janice Bryant Howard, incoming Chairman. “For many years, MBRT has been the champion for minority businesses. The key word is business-strong, ethical, vibrant and community serving businesses which are part of the foundation of our great nation creating jobs for Americans and growing in the U.S. economy. Following in Houston Williams shoes is both an opportunity to bring what I know best to MBRT and work under the stewardship of Roger, Houston and the MBRT membership.”

“The MBRT Board could not have selected a more dynamic leader to take the helm and move MBRT to the next level. As Vice Chair and past Chairman of this fine organization, I pledge my support to Ms. Janice Howroyd in her new endeavor and to the President & CEO Roger A. Campos in any way I can be of service”, said Houston L. Williams, CEO PNS, Inc. and Owner Ravenoaks Vineyard and Winery, Inc.
