Washington, D.C. – “MBRT and MBDA share the same mission and goals and values working together on issues to increase jobs and provide access to capital and contracts for sustained economic growth, said Roger A. Campos MBRT President & CEO. We hope to change the state of small and minority entrepreneurs as an untapped economic resource ensuring our Nation’s strength.”
The objective of the alliance and formal Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreement is to formalize the participation of MBRT in MBDA activities and vice versa to promote and enhance business opportunities and access to capital for “Main Street” minority businesses that have been hit the hardest by the current economic climate.
The MOU calls for MBDA to collaborate and effectively leverage each other’s capabilities, resources and business networks to develop creative and innovative approaches for promoting the growth and global competitiveness of small and minority businesses including increasing their size, scale and capacity to successfully access domestic and global markets.
“We are pleased to partner with MBDA and provide our input into the Department of Commerce policies to increase procurement opportunities here in the United States and internationally for small and minority businesses. Our members are leaders in innovation and technology and are eager to contribute their knowledge and experience as role models to the four million entrepreneurs who make up our Nation’s minority owned businesses “, said Roger A. Campos MBRT President & CEO.
