Meet the Founder
Roger A. Campos is the Founder and Chairman of the MBRT. From 2015 to 2023, he served in the Cabinet of Maryland Governor Larry Hogan. He served as Maryland’s first Business Ombudsman and now serves as Assistant Secretary in Maryland’s Department of Housing, where he led business and economic development under the Governor’s Project CORE initiative.
Prior to establishing MBRT, he served as Executive Vice President for Government Relations, managing Washington operations for the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities.
He has a distinguished public service career and has worked for several federal government agencies, including the White House's Office of Management & Budget and the Small Business Administration, where he drafted the policy procedures for the federal government's 8(a) minority business program.
Roger is a published author writing the first Rock Novel and is the father of singer and songwriter Jon Campos, who arranged and performed the music for the 13-song track music CD which accompanies the book. www.sleepingwithanangel.com.
He graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara and earned his law degree from the United States International University (California Western Law) in San Diego, California.
